Sartre was accused by many structuralist thinkers and other you could say perhaps postmodern philosophers of putting forward a kind of almost bourgeois obsession of individualism. He would obviously be critiqued by marxists as being a kind of bourgeois individualist there's a famous experience where lukach the great marxist philosopher who folks know that i'm very fond of once wrote a train to paris to present these lectures of a critique of existentialism. So he's giving a completely different understanding of how we become like things in capitalist society.
