Protections and Obligations Under Directive and Domestic Law

The e directive 92, forty three e e c ere more commonly known as the conservation of natural habitats and species. And what that directive did primarily was to establish a network of special areas of conservation across the european union and european member states. The main protection that we are looking at is under article six. But then there's a more specific obligation under article six three which is to carry out an appropriate assessment of any plan or project likely to have a significant effect on a special area of ation.
