What Other Languages Are Available on Duolingo for People to Learn?
There are a bunch of languages available on duolingo for people to learn. We have the big ones, like spanish, a, french, german, italian, portuguese. There's also irish, esperanto, esperantos, danish, swedish, russian, ukranian. And by t the very powerful in asia, the t we've benak, english. But you'll notice we have no asian languages right now. Why? It's because it's harder to teach them.
Luis von Ahn (@luisvonahn) is an entrepreneur and computer science professor at Carnegie Mellon University. He is known for inventing CAPTCHAs, being a MacArthur Fellow ("genius grant" recipient), and selling two companies to Google in his 20's.
