If you have always believed that everyone should play by the same rules and be judged by the same standards, that would have gotten you labelled a radical 60 years ago. I happen to know that i have a quote from thomas sowll that i'd like to share with you while i read it. If you said what i favor when it comes to college is perhaps a bit of class based affirmative action, but beyond that, a scoring system based on grades and test scores. Varsity athletes get a three % boost. This is what i would support, probably for a large number of at least selective admissions programmes.
