i grew up in highland park, illinoisan all jewish suburb. My spiritual upbringing was sort of a religious poo poo platter. In my heart of hearts, god was charlton hestin as moses part the red sea. So when the kids started calling me ching chung chinamen, i used to thnk they were talking to someone behind me. Because i thought i was a white jewish girl with a name like rachel, rebecca or esther. I can't deal with this ugly side of the world. Want to go home and watch tella tubbies with my three year old. Just do it for your son.
