The Postmodernists Are Wrong

Postmodernists like to think that the way that we organize our societies is by power. We learn how to interact with other people, and the people who are most successful at that are those who are best at exercising their will. I don't think it works on the playground. It's a really sub-optimal means of organizing a society. You know, you generate a tremendous amount of resistance as a consequence of the arbitrary imposition of power.
