McDougal's Selective Reporting Argument
Australian science communicator, Dr. Carl Chris O'Nicky accused McDougal of selectively reporting his results. He argues that McDougal had only one case, patient one, whose results agreed with the hypothesis that the person would lose weight upon death. This criticism is flatly untrue and I would expect more even from a science communicator like Dr. Carl. All six of the results indicated weight loss upon death, even the two cases that McDouGal thought should not be relied upon.
