i wanted to talk a bit about your insights and experience of the traition period, in particular in eastern europe in the early 19 nineties. And also to ask how it fits with the m with the broader thesis about the role played by communism am. I was just struck by the view which regarded is revolutions as revolutions of liberalism and marticulturalism. It doesn't fit at all. Even when you look at countries that have done very well, like poland and the baltic countries and the others, what is really basically nationalism.
