What's Driving the Rift Between the Hill and the Valley?
The us. Is so much bigger and more open, that we're more vulnerable to a siber attack than almost any other country. A whole chapter in my book is dedicated to the rift between the hill and the valley. To an enormous extent, there is a real cultural difference between silican valley and capital hill. I also think that the world has been peaceful for so long that a lot of people saw working with penagon more as a discretionary choice and less as a civic duty. The war in ukraine is actually reminding everyone that defence isn't always a choice. It's sometimes a necessity to survive,. We can't take peace for granted.
