The Effects of Exogenous Ketones on Insulin Resistance

For somebody with insulin resistance and high levels of glucose eating a lot of carbohydrates is only throwing fuel on the fire. Exogenous ketones will come and go they've got a pretty short half-life but when you force your body to produce ketones your liver actually responds by increasing the number of mitochondria in your liver cells because they are the things producing ketones. Your liver will end up restoring its metabolic health because you are forcing it to produce ketone at the end of the day.
