How to Build a Website With a Screen Reader

The W3C is essentially the standards body for the web. And they have a set of standards called WCAG which stands for web content accessibility guidelines. The principles are perceivable, operable, understandable and robust. So you have to think not just as a sighted person, okay, I put some text on the page, I can see it,. But you also have to think that that content or that user interface components must also be perceivable to someone who's using an assistive technology like a screen reader.
