The Importance of Equal Chances

In 2020 our ombudsman, the different of rights which was previously mentioned, released a very important report on discrimination. They underlined that a person with a supposedly North African name has 20% less chance of obtaining a response from a big French company than a candidate with a French name. We are a country that pride itself into being a colorblind nation and yet it sounds like we see colors when convenient. So in the end, what do we want exactly? Because I'm also implementing the principle of equality,. But to get to equality, you need fairness. You need access to equal chances. And when I hear that millions have been put in the marginalized community, it's not even true.
