The Importance of Expectations

A lot of this movie is about expectations that we kind of put on women in society. The idea is there's not a single woman running Barbie behind the scenes. It feels like they did a very good job at knowing exactly kind of the meta aspect they needed to do here. They were just they made them they made them like lovable goofballs, right?
