Building a Quantum Center
NSF funds a number of these centers but they don't fund multiple IUCRCs on the same topic. We absolutely have to have somebody like David who is technically competent and works well with people from different sites. That is absolutely the number one requirement. While we're certainly open to exploring and we'd love to hear from other people to see if that makes sense it does have to be the right fit for that to happen.
