Sales taxes in the usa, they differ by states. There is no federal, national level a tax. A cup of coffee would have a different sales tax than a pair of jeans in california verses in massachusetts. All those are unistaable. So sass for a long time, was kind of in this gray zone because it was assumed that sofwhare was distributed on physical cedees and like mailed out to people. But then once a, you know, the world transitiond to by enlarge, delivering soffwhere on line, it took some time for policy to catch up to that.
