The NERC Warnings About a Possible Blackout Filling Summer
CNN's John Defterios reports on a possible blackout filled summer in the United States. He says we are setting ourselves up for a national power system that only works some of the time and that is a recipe for disaster. The US Department of Agriculture predicts that farmers will probably abandon their either sick or non-existent wheat crops at levels not seen since 1917. And before we get to South Africa, we need to talk about Kansas because if you are in Kansas or frankly anywhere in the Midwest this morning, I don't need to tell you that it is dry.
