The US consumer is much less sensitive to swing in mortgage rate. A lot of people that put their house in the last 10 years have locked themselves a very low interest rate for the next 10 to 15 years. But at the same time, with the job market so strong, I have difficulties in imagining the US consumer under stress this year.
