Introduction
Last week India's largest drone company Mumbai based idea force technology filed its IPO documents. This comes just two months after Pune based Rona Charya aerial innovations made a stellar W on the BSC SME platform. The funding raised by drone startups has been doubling every year since 2020 with a record funding of $39 million in 2022 as per data from traction. And the players are not just startups but large business houses such as Reliance and Adani who have made their forays into the business of drones either organically or through acquiring stakes in other drone startups.
