The Importance of Intimacy in Long Distance Relationships
If a relationship is going to progress long distance or not, then the intimacy needs to develop. Sometimes people can be going out together for years and only see each other like one, two, three, whatever times a year. This is all well and good when it's in the early stages, but if they're going to progress that doesn't work. If you've ever watched Catfish, on MTV, it's a show, come up with the guy's name, is it Neve Neve? It's about the proliferation of people who think that they are in these long distance, amazing, true-left-type relationships with somebody they've met online.
