The Death of Satoshi Matsu

Satoshi way Matsu was a 26 year old care home worker in the Japanese city of Sagami Hara. In February 2016 he suddenly resigned from his job after taking on a dark and brooding persona that caused deep riffs in both his personal and professional relationships. A few months later he sent an impassioned letter to Tokyo politician Tada Mori Yoshima asking him to support legalizing euthanasia for those with multiple disabilities. He also volunteered to target two separate facilities responsible for housing the mentally and physically disabled If Oshima would promise him legal immunity. Satoshi then signed the letter off with not just his name, but also his address telephone number and the name of his former care home employees.
