Dating app hinge analyzed 10,000 people who took a love language quiz in 2010. It found that words of affirmation was the most popular language but by a thin margin. Women who answered acts of service received seven times more likes than other women when you held everything else constant. But I also personally think it depends a lot on gender culture, customs and values so certain love languages might be less common in non-Western cultures.
