Building Homes for Ukrainian Refugees

They discuss the Ukrainian crisis and the slow response of the UK government. They share how they reached out on social media for help to build a website to give people the opportunity to pledge to host a Ukrainian family. The response was overwhelming, with thousands of people showing interest. Eventually, the government allowed them to co-design a program called the Homes for Ukraine program, which has resulted in 150,000 Ukrainians now living with ordinary families in the UK.
