Women in the Air Force - Irina Aracabolskaya
Andrzehlinger's mother, Irina Aracabolskaya, was studying physics in Moscow State University. She learned that famous woman was a pilot also, who was trying to organize a regiment of women fighting in the war. Many of the women who joined already had the skills to become aviators, navigators, engineers and mechanics. All of them were students when the Germans attacked Soviet Union 22nd of June, 1941.
