The author offers a diagram of the main events and the way that you can put them together to map the evolution of the story within his narrative. One thing that you can see when you do that is that it's very typical for policymakers or politicians or King in this example, to have different types of future or scenarios for the future. And then that is the one way to articulate the justification of the decision we make,. Because we want to avoid this future, a catastrophic future, and to pave our nation to that future.
