The Rise of Maize Production in South Africa
There's a lot of environmental schemes being implemented in England, so we're all being put on effectively what is stewardship programs. A lot of us are using minimum tillage here, so a lot of us won't plow the ground anymore and turn over the soil. In South Africa, it's a well known fact that maize plant has to be finished before the end of December. But this has moved. Keep on planting later and I keep on planting cultivars that need short time from planting to harvesting.
