Norma Jean Dorides Packing Parachutes for the Army
Norma Jean Dorides was 18 when she signed up to pack parachutes in World War II. She worked at the Radio Plane Aircraft Plant in Burbank, California. An army photographer visited and took pictures of women on assembly lines. Norma Jean is a perfectionist who wants every shot to be a good one.
