The Media's Role in the War on Vietnam

The media, according to a military analysis, found that by the time Walter Cronkite said we were mired in stalemate, polls had already turned against the war. It is true that the media had been pretty pro the Vietnam War initially, and then gradually learned that they were being lied to - beyond the shadow of doubt. The turning point came when a certain level of casualties was met -- too many people experiencing death in their own lives.
