Lord Lucan and Lady Lucan's Break-In
Lady Lucan was in a fragile mental state, and being treated with various antidepressants. Hired nanny Sandra Rivet to help out around the house after her marriage collapsed. When his wife got custody of their children Lord Lucan became increasingly threatening. He hired private detectives to spy on his soon-to-be-ex-wife. Hoped they would uncover damaging evidence about her mental instability so he could win back custody of his children. On November 7th 1974 it's believed that Lady Lucan stumbled upon bloody scene when she went down into basements for cup of tea. Her estranged husband is said to have then sprung out from shadows and beat woman to death before fleeing pub.
