CNN's John Sutter is skeptical of most police he encounters. He says the Memphis beating was not an arrest, but payback for alleged reckless driving. Race has obviously played a big role in many departments' historic mistreatment of citizens and this video doesn't help him understand why it happens so often on TV. The much deeper issue here is how we train our officers to engage citizens in their job, Sutter says.
