The Cassandra complex is the negative mother complex of a woman's psyche. It occurs when an influx of unconscious material overwhelms her and she falls apart. She'll talk about her experience in a way that the patriarchal mind doesn't understand it, doesn't even understand what she's talking about because it's there. And so really the goal is to be able for her to develop the consciousness so that she can have her experienceSo that she can even believe her own experience and she can articulate it to the world.
