People can have a sense of how you're feeling and if you've had a bad day, but they can't literally read your mind. Some people are better at being perceptive to subtleties of non-rob behaviour,. But it's still not enough to get around this idea that people can’t read your thoughts. When we look at studies of lying detection between strangers, people can't do it. And so no matter what, with a romantic relationship with a friendship with a family relationship, even if you're keeping a secret, you definitely want to stay open with your thoughts and feelings more generally. Otherwise, they're going to notice something is up for sure.
