Chris Lonsdale has been looking at language learning and modeling for 15 to 20 years. He says it's really easy: you look around for people who can already do it, identify the principles and apply them. Every now and then I have guests on Luke's English podcast who are not native speakers of English. They're either learning English or have learned English to a reasonably sort of functional standard. So hopefully, in a sense, we're kind of modeling, we're finding out a sort of effective model of language learning from those people too.
