The book is really meant for a western audience. It's, I'm not here to like explain something to someone in Kenya. The World Bank and IMF are the same effort basically. And there are lots of criticisms at the surface level? So there are certainly some downsides and maybe they'd have been better run poorly or perhaps even more inefficient. But we need an understanding that these institutions were created for good reasons as we've covered today.
