There's a lot of advice about why introverts need to get out there. There's less advice about why extroverts need to go for a quiet walk and talk a little less sometime. I do think that we all need to sometimes transcend our natural inclinations. But the best framework that I've ever seen for thinking about that comes from the work of Professor Brian Little, who's a personality psychologist.
