Sarush Alvi took a small alternative magazine in Montreal and built it into vice media, which is now valued at over $4 billion. He didn't set out to create any of this; he barely made it out of his 20s alive. The two fields that are most respected in Pakistan, at least when I was growing up, was medicine or engineering.
