Canadian Design Community

i feel like i haven't really found the design community yet here. I've met a couple of designers when i was out there visiting who i got connected with purely through twitter, as one does am. But in terms of like a wider community and like design events and meet ups and conferences, i'm going to guess most of that probably happens in the city of vancouver or victoria. And also, almost a th time we've been in a pandemic. So rigt ye, there's not many meet ups and, like, i don't know, design conferences or anything like that that happened here.
