Is Science Self Correcting Too Strong?

Science isn't self correcting, but scientists correct each other. The whole point of this process is that people are fallible and we all have blind spots. And particularly once we think a theory is right, we may have to push for it. In my opinion, the scientist is the one who can say, hey, you know, you might be right about that. That's what we ask scientists to do. They don't always do it, but collectively, sciences and enterprise does do it.
