The Challenges of Gene Therapy for Hemophilia A

Nelson: I guess we're learning now that more gene therapies are getting approved that this is not like, you know, when a pill wins FDA approval for a major disease and just begins shipping within a week or so. Like this is a much more complicated process. And it's hard sometimes to compare across gene therapies because of the different kind of treatment logistics. Nelson: But those are certainly some of the discussions and some of the challenges that they will face when trying to get patients off of existing drugs.
