The Importance of Data Science in Teaching

Data science is a real opportunity because the availability of data is great and the computational tools for working with data are very good. So, for example, on this one, you have, you're getting the world population estimates from a table. You can just go read HTML and you give it a URL or just a HTML file in this case. And then you can say, well, we just want the second table that was in that HTML and it literally grabs out of Wikipedia. It grabs the table and turns it into a pandas data frame,. which is pretty remarkable, honestly. This is a real, I think, teaching opportunity.
