Physiologic Disnia During Pregnancy

Disnia during pregnancy is quite common, occurring in about 60 % of women with exertion and fewer than 20% at rest. The symptoms are so common that it is usually referred to as physiologic disnia. Distinguishing this physiological disnia from breathlessness caused by disorders complicating pregnancy or diseases that might coexist with pregnancy is essential.
