Is AGI as Close as I Believe?
There was a quote from Sam Altmerry where he said that if you believe artificial general intelligence is as close as I do, you struggle to think about any other problem. He could still be taking 20 years, but it just means that like some societal problems are kind of irrelevant against the greater potential wave of what could be happening here. So full disclaimer mode on here. And yeah, there's a lot of merit to that start of thinking personally.
