As age groups transition from being mostly silenced to mostly boomers, you see more problems around alcohol and drugs in those older populations. And that happened when boomers were young, but it is persisting as they get older. Could say my parents' generations drank a lot of hard alcohol and then the boomers did a lots of hard drugs in the 60s. I slightly missed that, which is good, I think. But now I read that the kids these days, they're just not having as many, except for recreational marijuana. They just don't drink as much, which is probably good, but they don't seem to be getting driver's licenses.
