I was just so taken aback at how open you were about yourself and about these people's lives. At some point, I was like, this is so well done. These people can't be real. And the fact that the entire book is like taking a complete 180 from that notion has made it such a big splash. If I had known that so many people would read it, I might not have been that open, but I'm really glad that I was.
