The Housing Crisis
I'm always surprised that I ended up here like for my life basically, but you know, life works in strange ways. But yeah, it's crazy. 35% of New York City is like actually empty. It's like no one's even there. And then you think about, after World War II, the president had put this thing into effect where like houses couldn't be more than $200,000 and rent couldn't be over 1500. So people could come back and afford to live. That's where all of our parents got houses. Right, right? If we did that for even a year,. even a year, how many more people would be able to have housing?
