The media has siloed itself to cater, and this is an economic choice to a particular demographic. There was no price the times paid for a hiping o, the fake russia gage stuff, because itwas what their demo demographic wanted to hear and believed. So tere's beena deep corrosion. I mean, let's not romanticize the commercial press. As my friend sidney schamberg once said, we may not be making things better, but at least we're stopping things from getting worse.
