Towards a Machine Translation System?
I think there's a massive efficiency that we are not making use of, an p which is that we look at big, thin data. We could learn a lot more by looking at tick data, right? Where we do a survey. Maybe take a machine translation system, have a few people run it and then talk to them about how it was,. what worked, what didn't work in the past. It seems really unlikely to me that there's a universally suitable metric for assessing machine translation. I hope, i hope it's my thing. Tere's omting efficiency to be had with this kind of tic. There's so much potential in learning to speak each other's languages
