The History of Yunnan

In recent years, there's been a lot of stuff on social media showing so many China nationals who chunk it all in and abandon the cities. The focus of the series will be wherever there's a nexus with what was transpiring up in core China throughout the dynasties. There's a mountain there called Yunshan, Mount Yun, or Cloud Mountain. During the Han dynasty when Yunnan was annexed by this, well up to that time, greatest empire China had ever seen,. They called the place Yunnan because it was south of this Mount Yun, non-meaning south.
