i'm no mathematician by any means, but i will give you a thought maybe to maybe discuss with your friend. There's a kind of precision here that you don't get in other areas of thought. But i would dare say thatyouand you can ask him, ioud dare say that most of the mathematical objects that he deals with are not metaphors. Are these things sort of hanging out there somewhere, and in some sort of invisible platonic space? You can't find it. So so what i would like to find out is, does he these things that he's actually studying, exists somewhere? Are hanging out somewhere ant in some sense?
