Is There a Recession?

The spring of 2020 was not a recession. We didn't have two full quarters of economic decline. In fact, it was more like two months before the economy began to rebound. swings in GDP can be driven by different factors that don't necessarily imply that the American economy is worse off. The recent strength of the US dollar relative to other currencies has reduced our export demand.
