In Japan they have like a QR sticker that they put next to the stamp. The EU stamps also very basic, but just thick black lines and sort of very basic drawing of a plane and then the date. I think it's mad that we have to carry this physical passport around still in this day and age. And if you lose it, you're screwed. You're completely screwed.
